About art.in.flux
art.in.flux is a team of two young independent curators, recently graduated from arts degrees. Combined, we have experience working for galleries, artists, auction houses and art magazines. We share a passionate interest in the contemporary art scene and have embarked on this curatorial collaboration as a means of materialising our ideas about art as an experience, as something sensory; a reciprocal relationship between artwork, viewer and environment.
As independent curators, we feel liberated from the responsibilities and restrictions associated with institutional galleries and museums. Thanks to this, we are able to concentrate on the message that is most important to us; giving exposure to new artists, and creating exhibitions through the transformation of non-gallery spaces.

The excitement of Thursday night's opening has made us want to throw another party... so we're having a closing party this Sunday 18th from 6pm, click[here] to see the invite . It will be a last chance to see the exhibition, with the bonus of a bar and live music.

A very big thank you to everyone who came down last night to the opening. Your support was much appreciated, and the atmosphere was truly electric! We will be posting photos soon, please check our blog [here].
If you didn't manage to make it last night, then please do come down before sunday. The work looks great, and the space is much improved following its' transformation into a gallery.

Very exciting, we are opening in 4 days! Add us to your art calendar [here], you can also find us on artreview [here]. The limited edition catalogues are printed, stamped, sewn and bound and looking great.

Just over two weeks to go until the opening... and we are married to our laptops, designing rubber stamps, making catalogues, drinking coffee, overcoming all fears of technology, and having exhibition nightmares.
The process continues.
